Position: Research and Development Advisor and Tutor

Maya is working with TCI developing an Educational Leadership Certificate. Maya is highly talented and will be making a contribution to other administrative and educational areas as part of TCI.
"I have almost 18 years experience as middle-level university manager and over 6 years in teaching higher education. I have also published my researched work in reputable international journals, as well presented at various conferences in Asia, USA, UK, Europe and Australia. My academic career spans across different country context such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand.
Parallel to my academic career is my passion for community engagement. I have served as livelihood specialist, organizational development consultant, program developer and community educator. Sectors I was privileged to partner with are environmental organizations, fisher folk communities, schools in difficult circumstances and various non-profit organizations. My areas of advocacy work are in educational development, environmental sustainability and peace.
