Research and Academic Interests: Systematic Theology, Christian Anthropology, Girardian theory.

Susan was appointed to the position of Head of Student and Business Support at the beginning of 2015.

Aside from her experience working at TCI as a distance tutor, lecturer and e-learning coordinator, Susan has also had extensive experience in admin and computer work.

She has worked with Faith Updates which are short online courses that are useful for teachers to undertake some professional development in topics relating to the teaching of RE and for people in general to 'have a go' at studying theology without having to commit a great deal of time or money.  In response to requests from schools, TCI has developed a series of short presentations for school staff to work on together. Susan is involved in this project. Susan is also working on her doctorate which is examining what we mean when we reject Satan in the baptism of infants.  This topic is explored employing the theory of Rene Girard.
