The Certificate in Parish Service for RCIA Catechists is a joint effort between The Catholic Institute of Aotearoa New Zealand and the Catholic Diocese of Auckland.
It will enrich each catechist’s own understanding of faith, equip catechists for ministry and strenghten the catechist’s understanding of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
4 Courses in Theology and Pastoral Ministry including a special course developed with particular attention to the Auckland context.
If you wish to take your studies further in this area you can study the New Zealand Certificate in Christian Studies (Level 5) - Christian Ministry and on to the New Zealand Diploma in Christian Studies (Level 6) - Pastoral Ministry.
This qualification will give you the basics to minister as an RCIA Catechist.
